IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Ann
Linskens
January 1, 1934 – January 28, 2023
Carol Ann Linskens, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Sage Meadow Assisted Living. She was born a New Years baby on January 1, 1934 to the late Joseph and Florence Lasee.
She graduated from East De Pere High School and shortly thereafter met and married the love of her life, Jack Linskens on May 8, 1954. Together they raised seven children.
Carol had a beautiful smile, a loving heart and compassion for people. Everyone she met soon became a friend. Her deep faith sustained her thru challenging times.
Her hobbies included gardening, knitting and baking pies. She also enjoyed animals, especially horses. She and Jack loved to travel to Branson, MO, Waterloo, IA, Yellowstone and countless visits to family and friends.
She drove bus for Lamers Bus Lines for over 40 years. It was not a job to her but a labor of love for many generations of family in West De Pere. She also worked many years at the Fox Valley Auto Auction, cooking, waitressing, baking pies and even housekeeping. No job was beneath her and she made lifelong friends.
Survivors include her seven children, Laurie (Joe) Klarkowski, Joe (Karen) Linskens, Tom (Sherry) Linskens, Barb (Bill) Koltz, Todd Linskens, Jenny (John) Krawczyk and Teresa (Henry) Ferron, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Arleen Hockers-Krug, Janet Clark and Evie Seran, two brothers, Alan (Janice) Lasee and Richard (Carol) Lasee, numerous nieces, nephews, friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Jack, a sister Elvira and brothers-in-law, William and Robert.
Thank you to her children for countless hours of love and devotion to an amazing Mother, as well as the staff at Sage Meadow Assisted Living and Unity Hospice for their kindness, support and compassion during Carol's last days. She is free from her pain and is now resting in peace.
