Carol J. Skenadore, 89 of De Pere, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024. Carol was born on April 23, 1935 to the late Walter and Laura (Harrigan) Kimps. She attended St. John the Baptist School and graduated from Seymour High School. On June 23, 1956, Carol married Vince, her "Rock". He preceded her in death on April 15, 2000.
Carol will be remembered for her love of family, golfing, bowling, and going out to dinner and drinking a good old fashion. She was a proud grandma and great grandma, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her children, Craig Skenadore of Green Bay, Denise (Ron) Engebos of De Pere, Lisa (Larry) Wiercinski of De Pere, Justine "Tiger" (Travis) Huff of Green Bay, grandchildren Randall (Krystal) Skenadore, Michael Skenadore, Gina (Gary) Kittell, Tony (Bre) Engebos, Tami (Andrew) Calnin, Renee (Dan) Rozumalski, Laura Wiercinski and Conan White, Travis (Abby Lytie) Wiercinski, Quinnton Skenadore, and Faith Huff. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Allie, Connor, Kallie, Kaiden, Brayden, Blake, Riley, Alexa, Kinsley, Ayla, Nora, Kane, Aslyn, Levi, Cashton, her sister-in-law Dorothy Kimps, brother-in-law Gordon (Judy) Skenadore, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband Vince, Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Clarence Kimps, her sisters Alice, Elizabeth, Edna, Laura, Isabel, Emily, and their spouses, as well as her daughter-in-law Carol Skenadore, and one of her godchildren, Nettie Coonen.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday August 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street De Pere. A funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation with Deacon Bobby Doxtator officiating. Entombment will follow at a later date at Allouez Mausoleum.
Special Thank you to the staff at Caraton Commons and Moments hospice for their care of our mom. Thank you also to Dc. Bobby for visiting with our Mom so often.
