Carole J. Gammey, 69, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, January 22, 2015. She was born in Michigan in 1945 and grew up in Florence, WI, the daughter of Adam and Prena Vross. She enjoyed playing Smear with her cousins while they drank wine and told jokes in Italian, as well as swimming, cooking authentic Italian food, and eating chocolate. Carole is survived by her daughters, Jeanne Gammey, Green Bay, and Susan (David) Rice, Niagra, grandchildren, Krissa and Lanie Brasure, Green Bay, Timothy Brasure II, Niagra, Kimberly and Tyler Rice, Niagra. She is further survived by many cousins in Crystal Falls, MI. Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Prena, along with her many aunts and uncles. A private ceremony will be held to celebrate Carole's life in the spring in Crystal Falls, MI. The details for that ceremony are still pending. The family would like to extend thanks to the caring staff members at Manor Care East and on the fourth floor of Bellin Hospital.
