Cecil Skenandore, 92, passed away on Tuesday September 9, 2014. He was born on July 15, 1922 in Neenah to the late Zachariah and Lilian Skenandore. Cecil served in the C.C.C. and then proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He was united in marriage to Ruth House. Cecil had worked for over 30years at the F. Hurlburt Co., he then retired from the State of Wisconsin. He enjoyed the outdoors, weather hunting or fishing. Cecil was also an avid bowler, like the Packers, and a good game of Billiards. He was a faithful member of the First Congregational Church in De Pere. He always enjoyed being with his large family.
Cecil is survived by his children; Cecil (Tina) Skenandore, Betty (Jim) Willems, Sharon (Allen) Cloud, Wayne Skenendore, Eugene (Judy) Skenandore, Claudia Skenandore, Barbara (Scott) Andre, and Linda (Wayne) Verheyen. He is further survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Cecil's siblings also survive him, Kenny (Mary Ann) Skenandore, Earl Skenandore, Carol Gill, and Lorraine Antone.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and 3 siblings; Zachariah Skenandore, Becky Skenandore, and Marie Cornelius.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 6 8pm on Friday September 12, 2014. Visitation will continue after 9am Saturday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ Church in De Pere, until time of service at 11am with Pastor Jan Davis officiating.
