Cecilia Lucille Beaupre, 94, Green Bay, arrived in Heaven on Friday, August 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 16, 1920 in De Pere, a daughter of the late August and Cecilia (Puyleart) Gauthier. On March 22, 1945 she married Harold Beaupre at St Joseph Church, De Pere. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2003.
Cecilia was in the drum major of East De Pere High School where she was able to twirl for First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and at Green Bay Packer games. She worked at the Post Office and for Nigbor Furs. Cecilia was a devout Catholic, praying daily and attending Mass at St Joseph Catholic Church, Oneida. Along with raising her family, her strong faith and gentle heart lead her to care for her mother, father and husband when their health deteriorated. An avid Packer fan that never missed watching a game, she enjoyed sharing her adventure of attending the Ice Bowl.
She is survived by her daughter Lu Ann (Dennis) Johnson; son John (Claire) Beaupre; eight grandchildren: Tim (Tracy), Mark, Denise (Wayne), Daniel (Fiance Tracy), Christina (friend Jeff), Annette (Jeremiah), Michael (Danielle), and Sarah (Tom); 14 great grandchildren: 1 great great grandson. Lucille is further survived by her sisters-in-law: Irene Gauthier, Carol, and Jeanie Beaupre-Monfils; Best Friend: Leone Olson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents; two brothers: Walter (Dorothy) Gauthier, Norbert Gauthier; and sister Mabel (Harold) Smits.
Family and friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 St. Joseph Dr, Oneida. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. John Chrysostom Katamba officiating and Deacon Bobby Doxtator assisting. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd. Please visit www.ryanfh.com to send a condolence to the family.
