Cecilia Cornelissen, 93, of De Pere, died Holy Saturday afternoon March 30, 2013 at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Fred and Frances (Verheyen) Aerts was born February 5, 1920 in the Town of Lawrence. She enjoyed playing cards and crafts, including painting of ceramics. Cecilia was an avid Packer fan, a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children: Kenneth and Diana Cornelissen, Marilyn Mashl, David and Dianna Cornelissen, Gary and Mary Cornelissen, Alan and Becky Cornelissen, JoAnn Cappaert, Lois Cornelissen, Brian and Jo Cornelissen, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother and sisters: Loretta Thyssen, Dorothy Matzke, Rosemary Mc Vey, Pat Geurts, Geraldine VandenBogart, Jean Mc Vey, Marge Buresh, Janice Beyer, Betty Jones, Bill Aerts. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Susan, one sister, Alice VandeHei, a son-in-law, Dan Mashl, one grandson, Brad Mashl. Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, Suburban Drive at Lourdes Avenue, De Pere from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday, April 4, 2013.
