Celene May Brumlic, 83, passed away peacefully at St. Vincent hospital, Green Bay, WI on February 08, 2024 with family by her side. She was born in Green Bay, WI, on May 24, 1940, to Leslie Rondou and Harriet (Pratsch) Rondou.
Celene (Sally) was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1958. Celene's maiden name is Celene May Rondou. Celene (Sally) married William Gene Brumlic at Grace Lutheran Church in Green Bay on October 03, 1959.
Celene (Sally) worked for CESA and was involved with the Cerebral Palsy Center. She had devoted much time to this organization. Her daughter Alice had Cerebral Palsy. Her passions were folk art painting and knitting for the grandkids and others. She and Bill loved animals and had many dogs and horses in their lives. She also loved to bring their dogs to the Shawano library and read to children. She was a frequent participant at various craft shows selling her folk art. She also won many blue ribbons for her art at the Shawano Fair.
Celene is survived by her husband Bill Brumlic, daughter and son in law Celene Ann Lauer (Mark), and son and daughter in law Mark William Brumlic (Christy). She is further survived by her grandchildren and spouses Ryan Brumlic (Marissa), Sarah (Brumlic) DeGrave (Mitch), Diana (Lauer) Kennedy (Sean), and Jake Lauer (Chelsea). Also, her great grandchildren Natalie Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy, Rowan DeGrave, Jace DeGrave, Cleo Brumlic, and Morrison Brumlic. She is also survived by her sister Charlotte Rondou, cousins and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Harriet Rondou, mother and father in law Frank and Lily Brumlic, sister Mary Louise (Rondou) Wauters, and daughter Alice Brumlic.
A graveside funeral and ceremony for relatives and close friends is to be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1115 E. Green Bay St. Shawano, WI 54166, starting at 10:30am on June 07, 2024 with Pastor John presiding, as per Sally's request.
