IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charlotte Ruth
Schink
April 11, 1931 – April 30, 2023
Charlotte Ruth Schink, age 92, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Charlotte was born on April 11, 1931, the daughter of Charles and Amanda (Bethke) Zirbel. She graduated from East De Pere High School in 1949 and worked at Wisconsin Public Service before marriage. Charlotte cherished and nurtured friendships made there by helping organize reunions. Her love for music ran deep, and she put a distinctive spin on her favorite tunes. Charlotte was a church organist for more than fifty years. She was a devout Christian and found peace, comfort, and companionship there. Charlotte's favorite activities included riding out to the ledge on the family farm, thrifting, camping, the annual family reunion 'Camping on the Farm', crafting, and delivering plates of home baked cookies to those she held dear.
Charlotte lived Jesus' words from John 10:10 "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly". She had faith, love, laughter, food, friends, foolishness, and children, all in abundance. Charlotte and Paul Schink celebrated 66 years of marriage. Together they raised a large and loud family. Charlotte was 'Mummy' to six children and their spouses: Mark and Connie Schink, Paula and Mark Ducas, Myra Schink and Duwayne Fenner, Glenna and Scott Breaker, Johnna and Chris Maragos, and Wade and Jenny Schink. She loved supplying the marching soundtrack for clanging instruments played by her 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Charlotte looked forward to seeing Jesus, her husband Paul, her mother Amanda, great-grandchild McKenna, her best friends, Mary Ann and Delores, her Minnesota relatives, and many other beloved friends and family in heaven.
We are so blessed for the abundant life Mummy shared with us.
