Chris M., Jones, 30, of De Pere passed away early Monday morning, September 14, 2009 at his home after a short courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 16, 1979 to Kirk Jones and Patricia Jones. On September 13, 2003 he married Lydia Svetlauskas. Chris was employed at Kay Distributing. He was a very talented artist and loved to draw.He had a passion for restoring cars. Above all Chris was a loving father, husband, and son, whose family meant everything to him. He is survived by his wife Lydia, his children; Jaiden, and Ty, his parents; Kirk (Laurie), and his mom Patricia and her friend Jim Metzler. His brothers further survive; Jeff (Alexis), and Nick. His grandmother Audrey Scheller, his father in law Jim Svetlauskas, and his brother in law Nick. Chris is also survived by his step sisters; Chelsea Derbique, and Allison (Jesse) Klister, as well as his nephew and nieces Seth, Corinn, and Nevaeh, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his close cousin Andy and friends. Friends may call at the First Congregational Church United Church of Christ 1018 Cedar Street De Pere after 4pm Thursday, until the memorial service at 7pm with Pastor Jim Pfefferkorn officiating.
