Christina Lynn Charles, 59, passed away unexpectedly on July 8, 2026. She was born in Green Bay, WI on December 12, 1966, to Arthur and Leona Charles.

She will be missed by her children, who will always remember her by the stories they will tell. Her life came with many struggles, but she loved life. She loved everyone and genuinely cared for people. She created her own family and spent most of her time with them. She is loved and will be greatly missed by each of them.

Chris enjoyed plants, loved butterflies and animals. You never left without a hug, kiss and an “I love you”. Chris will always be remembered for her kind soul and the love she showed everyone she came in contact with.

Chris is survived by her children: Holly Funmaker, Julia Funmaker, Kevin Funmaker, Jason (Ari) Charles, and Shawn Charles, also by her 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is further survived by her siblings: David (Roxanne) Charles, Pamela Charles, Tracy (Corinna) Charles, Laura (Johnie) Charles, and Charlene Charles. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, many nieces and nephews, including one niece who is named after her, Amber Lynn, and her long time friend Gloria Youngs. 

She is further preceded in death by her son, Bruce Funmaker, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends may call at Holy Apostles Church, 2937 Freedom Rd, Oneida, WI, 54115 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, July 16th. The Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 10:30 am. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am with Fr. Biegler presiding. Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere, is assisting the family.
