Christina A. Cook, 80, De Pere began her heavenly journey on July 11, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Chris was born in Forfar, Scotland on February 12, 1946, to John and Margaret McEwan Williamina Fullerton.
She met her husband David while he was stationed in Scotland and they united in marriage on May 16, 1964, at East Parish Church in Forfar. They moved to the US where they raised three sons. Chris was proud to become a US citizen and was just as proud of her Scottish heritage.
Chris enjoyed working with people and was active in her church and community. She loved her family and friends, and it showed daily, we could always count on Chris!
Chris is survived by her husband of 62 years David A. Cook and her sons John I. Cook and Christopher (Michelle) Cook. Her grandchildren Casey (Christina) Cook, Caytie (CJ) Sherman, Tommy (Leona) Cook along with Caytie and Tommy's mother Sheila Carper who Chris considered a daughter, and her great grandchildren Avana Sherman, Josie Cook and a new baby Sherman due at any time. Chris is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews throughout the US, Canada and Scotland.
Chris was preceded in death by her son Thomas David Cook, her in-laws Irvin and Lucille Cook of De Pere as well as her nephew Tony Cook and niece Keisha Grubbs.
Family and friends may call for visitation at Ryan Funeral Home on Friday July 17, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm with Jeff Krumrei presiding.
The family would like to give a special thank you to The Willows staff and hospice for all their care and compassion. A special thank you to Chris's sisters-in-law Nancy Cook and Tori Sloan for all their help, care and compassion for Chris as well as Bonnie and Betsy for helping them when needed.
