IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christine Ann
Perrigoue
February 21, 1959 – November 24, 2025
Christine Ann (Roberts) Perrigoue, 66, of Green Bay, WI, passed away unexpectedly on November 24, 2025. She was born on February 21, 1959, to Howard and Nathalie (Gage) Roberts in Green Bay where she resided her entire life, remaining a loyal "East Sider". She graduated from East High School and married her high school sweetheart, William (Bill) Perrigoue, in 1978. Together they raised their three daughters: Jackie, Alisha, and Emilie while Christine worked as head of a non-profit, a paralegal, and ultimately in human resources for the Green Bay Public Schools. Though they later divorced, they remained connected through their family. She met Randy Helms in 2010 and in 2014 the two married along the shores of Lake Michigan. Randy remained her loving companion until her passing.
Christine's greatest joy in life was raising her three daughters and being a grandmother. The girls' childhood was filled with countless nights playing board games, eating candy, and playing Nintendo well past bedtime. A perfect circular imprint on everyone's right thumb was evidence of a fun-filled evening at home. Every holiday was magical because of the countless hours she spent decorating, baking, and planning. An even amount of love and thought put into each gift and each girl. She valued traditions and created many with her girls and subsequently her grandchildren. They, too, got to conquer Zelda with grandma, splash around in the lake, and 'sneak' candy. You didn't have to dig too deep into her oversized purse to find something sweet.
She was an excellent writer and an engaging storyteller. Her girls and her grandkids heard numerous stories about her precocious childhood friend, Judy, and begged to hear more. They always knew how to get one more story, one more treat, and one more game from her…and she happily obliged. She always dreamed of having a lake cottage like her grandparents, which she eventually did. She and Randy found a cabin on Star Lake and created a place to memory-make, "Grandma's Cottage". She turned those memories into family story books about summers at the cottage, a cherished annual gift her family received every Christmas.
Gardening was a second love to her family. She spent endless hours plotting the design, weeding the beds, and carefully watering her bulbs. She would then proudly showcase her new blooms every year. She was an avid reader and could frequently be found with a book in one hand and sipping a Coke with the other. She knew a little bit about everything, and her children often sought her opinion before making any decision, "just ask mom, she'll know what to do"…and when all else fails, "just put a hot compress on it". She was a big presence at any gathering; her laughter and booming voice filled the room.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Helms; her three children Jacqueline Perrigoue (Jeremy Correnti), Alisha Perrigoue (Lena Diechle), and Emilie Webb (partner Jacob Breunig); and her four grandchildren Sophie and Tessa Webb and Cole and Madeline Correnti. She is also survived by her sisters and brother Amy Roberts, James Roberts, Martha (Richard) Litkey, and Ellen (Victor) Hoffman; and nephews Cody and Nils Litkey, Alec Hoffman, and niece Allie Hoffman. She also leaves behind her best friend, Denise Biemeret.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Nathalie, and her sister Linda Roberts.
The loss of our wife, sister, mom, and grandma leaves a gaping hole. She was the centerpiece of our family and the glue that held it together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held April 11th, 2026, at Heritage Hill State Historical Park at 2640 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI. Friends and family may visit 10:30-11:30am with an informal service to follow. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a favorite charity.
Above all, Christine was the most loving mother and grandmother on the planet (no arguments to the contrary will be entertained by her daughters).
