Clarence E. Schumacher, 97, De Pere, passed away peacefully Sunday May 21, 2017 surrounded by his daughter Donna, and grandsons Clint and Jesse. He was born April 4, 1920 in Brillion to the late Leo and Margaret Schumacher. In January of 1943 he married Goldie Theilman, and she preceded him in death in 1949. In 1951 he married Jean Schleinz, and she preceded him in death in 2012. Clarence had worked at Antigo Milk Products, before retiring from Morning Glory Dairy in 1981 from the Maintenance Department.
He is survived by his children; Nancy Smith, Pat (Mike) Case, Donna Hendricks, Dan Schumacher and daughter in law Jan Schumacher. 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren with one more on the way in June, 36 great great grandchildren, as well as his sister Mary Kane, and his brother Charles (Mary Ann) Schumacher, sister in law Marlene Schumacher, as well as numerous nieces and nephews survive him.
He was preceded in death by both his wives, his children; Ann (Robert) Moss, Eileen Weidner, son Edward Schumacher, sons in law Ed Smith and Glen Hendricks, as well as his siblings; Alfred, Leo, Victor, and Gertrude (Norbert) Miller, and two brothers in law Giles Kane and Robert Cohen.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere from 6:00PM - 9:00PM Thursday May 25, 2017. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00PM. Visitation will continue after 8:00AM Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, De Pere until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating.
