Cletus F. Langlay, 82 of De Pere passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. He was born March 15, 1927 to the late Alex and Gertrude (Baumgartner) Langlay. On August 23, 1947 he married Evelyn Aland. Cletus was a veteran of the United States Navy. He retired from Nicolet Paper Company. Cletus was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn, children; Mary (Doug) Stewart, Pembine, Jan Dannhausen, Sturgeon Bay, Nancy (Tom) Gerondale, Green Bay, Gerald (Judy) Langlay, Packwaukee, as well as his grandchildren; Lisa, Tina, Tom, Anna, Michael, Jimmy, and his three great grandchildren; Justin, Samara, and Owen. His twin sister; Cleora (Russell) Gillis, and his sister in law Dolores Aland, and numerous nieces and nephews further survive him.
He was preceded in death by his grandson; Paul Stewart, and his siblings.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere on Sunday July 12, after 12:00pm until the memorial service at 1:00pm with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating.
