Obituary

Clifford Lawrence Wesolaski, 80, passed away at his home in Mishicot on April 15, 2024, of pancreatic cancer with family by his side. He was born in Three Lakes, WI on April 4, 1944, to parents John Hall and Loretta Langford and was later adopted by John Wesolaski.

Clifford was raised in Eagle River, WI with the help of his beloved aunt Laura Bortas. He moved to Milwaukee, WI where he attended South Division High School and met Helen Hayes; later uniting with her in marriage on June 20, 1964, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. The couple then moved to Greenfield, WI where they raised their family. Cliff went on to become a tradesman and was a member of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Local #8 for 29 years before retiring in 1999. He was a proud tribal member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians of Manistee, Michigan.

Cliff is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Scot (Melissa) Wesolaski and Leida (Jamie House) Wesolaski; grandchildren, Sydney Gwitt (fiancé Cody Benzel), Ellyana House, and Zachary Wesolaski; brother, John Wesolaski; brother-in-law, Bill (Donna) Hayes, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Cliff's special "Breakfast Gang" also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Loretta Wesolaski; biological father John Hall; father- and mother-in-law Bernard and Edna Hayes; brother-in-law Bernard Hayes; uncles and aunts Steve and Laura Bortas, Leonard and Punk Langford.

A memorial service for Cliff will be held at a later date. Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere, WI 54115 is assisting the Wesolaski family.

The family asks donations to be made in Cliff's name to the Manitowoc Lakeshore Humane Society. They would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. David Danby of Oneida Health Center, Froedtert Hospital, and Kim and Amy of Sharon Richardson Community Hospice.
