Craig A. "Racer" Van Den Berg, son of John H. Van Den Berg, Sr. & the late Barbara L. (Blohm), passed peacefully at the hospital after a long illness.
Craig was a caring loving soul. He found enjoyment in doing things for his family, running for parts for his brother shop, picking up his nephew from Wal-Mart when he needed a ride, making sure his sister got her coupons from the Sunday paper, and being part of taking care of his 91 year old father that he lived with.
In his spare time, Craig enjoyed playing cribbage, he loved teaching his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews how to play. He loved skunking his sisters and would laugh when they would tell dad on him. Craig was always an honest player and would make sure you got all your points no matter who he was playing.
Craig bragged about being the youngest of 8, (Craig said after me, mom & dad decided to quit, because they finally made perfection)
Craig is survived by his father, John H. Van Den Berg, Sr.; siblings: Denise (Joe) Van Hoof, John H. (Cindy) Van Den Berg, Jr., Lia (Joe) Murphy, Shelly (George) Bastien, Quinn (Cheryl) Van Den Berg, Scott (Connie) Van Den Berg, Shawn (Larry) Van Den Heuvel and Eliane Glocman; 33 Nieces & Nephews; 58 Great Nieces & Nephews; and 4 Great Great Nieces & Nephews; numerous other family and friends.
