Curtis "Curty D" Victor Dallaire

Curt Dallaire, aged 63, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on August 26, 1961, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to the late Victor and Marilyn (Curran) Dallaire.

Curt grew up in Green Bay and attended Preble High School. On June 6, 1986, he married the love of his life, Lori Cornette, at St. Mary's of the Angels church in Green Bay. Ever passionate about bowling, Curt was insistent on a June wedding to ensure it didn't interrupt the bowling season.

He was employed as a dedicated maintenance person for the D.C. Everest, Tomahawk, and Neenah school districts until his well-deserved retirement.

Curt will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 38 years, Lori; their two children, Katie and Kristopher; and his siblings, Steve (Rose Anne) Dallaire, Jim (Cathy) Dallaire, Joy (Dan) Krueger, and Mike (Julie) Dallaire, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Curt was also very close to Lori's family; Risa Cornette, Tami (Rob Morris) Cornette, Caryn (John) Forrest, Melissa (Scott) Wilde, Jane Snyder, Dillon Cornette, Chayce Cornette, and Lori's nieces and nephews.

Curt was a devoted father, never missing one of his kids' baseball or football games. He was also a dear friend to many, always ready with a smile and a sharp-witted joke. Wherever Curt went, it seemed he always knew someone.

From the age of 8, Curt developed a passion for bowling that lasted throughout his life. The highlight of his bowling career was scoring a 300 game. In his later years, he also enjoyed golf. He always put his heart and soul into any sport he played. He was also a huge Green Bay Packers fan.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ted and sister-in-law Mary Dallaire, his nephew Marcus Dallaire, and Lori's parents; Mary Cornette and Del Cornette.

Friends and family may pay their respects at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 4:00 PM until the time of the service at 6:00 PM. Chaplain Steve Fewell will officiate the ceremony.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Guntupalli, the nurses of the Bellin Cancer Team-especially Martha and Julie, Unity Hospice, and the many friends and family who provided support during Curt's illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Unity Hospice in Curt's memory.
