Cynthia A. Boreen, 72, Pound, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 2, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1954, to the late David and Ruth Cleven. Cindy married David Boreen on June 24, 1978, and together they had three boys, Matthew, Nicholas, and Andrew.

Cindy was very crafty; was excellent at knitting, cross-stitching, and quilting. She enjoyed her and David’s retirement home on White Potato Lake.

Cindy is survived by her husband David, her sons Matthew (Giulia), Nicholas, and Andrew (Hayley), as well as her grandchildren, Luca and Miles Boreen. She is further survived by her two brothers, two sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Friends and family may come for visitation on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere WI. A sharing of memories service will begin immediately following visitation at 7:00 pm.
