IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dale
Voight
March 10, 1936 – October 14, 2023
Dale Voight peacefully joined his wife, Pat, in Heaven on Saturday, October 14th.
Dale was born to Harry and Edna Voight on March 10, 1936, in Door County. Dale was a Korean War veteran. After his time in the Army, he became an expert carpenter and was a long-time member of Carpenters' Local 1146. Dale was also a member of Moose Lodge 801 where he was governor in 1985. Dale was a third district alderman for the city of De Pere from 1980 - '82.
Upon retirement, Dale loved to spend time at his cottage in Crivitz with his wife, Pat and their many grandchildren. Dale was an avid Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan. Dale was most proud of being a Shriner clown with Washington Lodge #21 of F.& A.M. in Green Bay and the Homestead Lodge in Florida while snowbirding his winters in Florida. We know Pat is applying his make-up and Dale is clowning around in heaven!!!
Dale is survived by: Larry (Vonnie) Voight, Kenny (Linda) Voight, Florida, Sue (Steve) VanderVelden, Steve (Sandy) Schwab, David Schwab, Florida, and Scott Schwab, 14 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Dale's sister, Janet Martell and brothers Paul Voight, Wayne (Judi) Voight, sister-in-law, Ann Voight are also his survivors. Dale, whom many affectionately called "Chummy", enjoyed spending time with his many nephews and nieces!
Along with his wife Pat, and parents, greeting Dale in heaven are: Brothers: Russel Voight, Conwell (Phyliss) Voight, Phil (Rose) Voight, and sister Helen (Grant) Hipp. His granddaughter, Chrissy Schwab, as well as in-laws Yvonne Voight, Jerry Wickman, Cliff Martell, also preceded Dale.
A special debt of gratitude to Connie, Brenda, and their staff at Grancare Gardens and Nursing for their care and compassion over the last 4 years!
