Daniel Dean Skenandore 63, originally from Keshena, passed away peacefully with family at his side on August 7, 2021. He was born February 3, 1958 to Carol and Eli Skenandore in Milwaukee and attended school on the Menominee Indian Reservation and High School in Shawano. Dan served our Country in the United States Army in the late 1970's. He spent many years as an archaeologist and helped preserve and replicate Native American artifacts. He also worked many years in the union as an ironworker. Dan enjoyed early retirement from the union and some traveling with his wife Kelly. Following retirement and travel his wife and him settled in Shiocton to be closer to family. Dan is survived by his father Eli Skenandore, wife Kelly Skenandore, daughters Lynn (Geoffrey) LaCrosse, Danielle (Tom) McGee, his son's Austin (Lena) Johnson, Scott (Nikki) Braatz, Elvis (Michelle) Walkin, and Stephen(Melissa) Kasee, grandchildren Arianna Ross, Jayce LaCrosse, Katelin McGee, Ashlee McGee, Regina Johnson, Silas Johnson, Philip Braatz, Victoria Braatz, Priscilla Braatz, Haley Braatz, and Frank Braatz. He is further survived by his brother William Skenandore, sister's Rene(Mike) Korth, Ronda Skenandore, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dan is proceeded in death by his mother Carol M. Skenandore and a brother Sam Skenandore. In honoring Dan's wishes, there will not be a service.
