Daniel Thaddeus Sampo, 64, Oneida, passed away Monday July 22, 2019. He was born December 14, 1954 to the late Francis and Marie (Santy) Sampo. Dan was a graduate of Pulaski High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1973 to 1975 and attained the rank of Corporal. On October 19, 2000 he married Debra Walton at First Congregational United Church of Christ in De Pere. Dan worked for Schneider for over 20 years, and was a member of Pulaski American Legion Post 337. He enjoyed sports of all kinds, especially the Packers, hunting and fishing. Dan cherished the time he spent with family and friends. He is survived by his wife; Debra, children; Ryan Hyde, Brandon Hyde, Jade Sampo and Joseph Sampo. Siblings, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Mary Havlik, Howard, Kevin (Marilyn) Sampo, Pulaski, Janice Sampo, Green Bay, William Garrity, West De Pere, Larry Olson, Pulaski, Gary Gauthier, Pulaski, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, his infant daughter Kathleen, siblings; Tim Sampo, Michael Sampo, Sandra Garrity, Dayle Olson, Rosemarie "Rorie" Gauthier, and his brother-in-law Frank Havlik. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 3:00PM Monday July 29, 2019. The service for Dan will take place at 6:00PM with full military rites to follow.
