Darrell L. Lardinois, 70, of De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, December 28, 2011 at a local hospital. The son of Joseph and Dorothy (Etienne) Lardinois was born July 29, 1941 in Kewaunee County. He married the former Judy Moureau, daughter of Joseph and Mamie Moureau, on November 19, 1960 at Holy Cross Church in Bay Settlement.
Darrell was a self-employed trucker for most of his life. He was a member of Bay Classics and Customs Car Club, the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed real estate dealings. He and Judy were members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
His family includes his wife, Judy, and their children, Cheryl and Bob Kallerud, Lori and Jim Hendricks, Dennis and Shannon Lardinois, Mary and Jim Popp, Julie and Jason Tlachac; grandchildren, Kristine, Matthew, Melissa, Tyler, Hunter, Bailey and Nick; his brother, Donald and Odile Lardinois; and a sister, Joanne and Gary Derricks. He is also survived by Judy's family, Richard (Joan) Moureau, Bernice (Robert) Jacobs, Joyce Berg, Doris (Clarence) Ducat, Jean (Donald) Smits, Rita (Peter) Jauquet, Loretta (Dale) Vanderken, Rosemary (Constance) Vanness, Rita Moureu, Richard Bielinski. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, Judy's parents and family, Walter Moureau, Sister Mary John (Grace), Carl Berg, Marilyn (Milton) Craanen, Pete Pirlot, Stanley Bosetski, and Shirley Bielinski.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Friday December 30, 2011 (TODAY). Prayer service will be held at 4:00 pm. Visitation will continue after 9:00 am Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, corner of Suburban Drive and Lourdes Avenue, De Pere until time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at the church with Father Tim Shillcox, O. Praem, officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Bay Settlement.
