David Ervin Green, Sr, 75, Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 8, 1936 in Green Bay, a son of the late George E. and Jetta M. (Johnson) Green. On June 2, 1957 he married the former Shirley Howell.
David served his country for six years in the US Army and spent his career as a professional semi driver. He was a member of the Brotherton Tribe, a fun, loving man, and he had a deep love for his wife, children, and grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife of 57 years Shirley Green; six children: David (special friend Mary Ann) Green, Jr., Sharon (special friend Tim) Green, Cheryl (Jose) Nolasco, Bradley Green, Shelly (Joseph) Ninham, and Lisa (Cruz) Martinez; 20 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his ten siblings: Iris, Glen, Wayne, Millie, Teen, Marvin, Karen, Becky, and Laurie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Donovan, granddaughter Angela, sister Inez, and brother George.
