Haese
August 8, 1959 – September 27, 2024
David John Haese, 65, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 following a short illness. The son of Alfred and Helen (Hockers) Haese was born on August 8, 1959.
Dave grew up on the family farm in Greenleaf, and graduated from Wrightstown High School. He spent most of his working years at Neenah Paper. On July 3, 1987, he married Mary Brick at St. Patrick's Church in Askeaton.
He was an original member of the Southern Brown County Conservation Club. Besides loving his wife, Dave's other loves included his dog Kota, spending time in the woods and on the water. He enjoyed golfing, spending time with his family and making booyah over a wood fire. Additionally, Dave was passionate about processing maple syrup, sharing his knowledge and mentoring anyone who wanted to learn how to hunt or fish.
Dave is survived by his wife, Mary; siblings, Richard, Mary Lawrence, Carl (Carol), Jane Thomas, William (Deb), James (Esther), Daniel (Kim) and Dale. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Al and Helen; parents-in-law James H. and Lucille M. Brick; brother-in-law Richard Thomas; extended family members and members of Mary's family.
Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish – St. Patrick Catholic Church,7815 St. Pat's Church Road, Greenleaf, beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Fr. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will take place Thursday at the St. Patrick Cemetery.
The Haese family would like to extend special thanks to Bellin Hospital Staff and Thedacare Neuro ICU Staff for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, family will be making donations to some of Dave's favorite causes.
