David G. Leisgang, 61, of Green Bay, died early Tuesday morning, September 3, 2013, after a long fight with Multiple Sclerosis. The son of Dorothy (Landwehr) Leisgang and the late Gerald Leisgang was born August 20, 1952 in Green Bay. He married the former Terri Stamps on July 13, 1996. David had worked in the paper manufacturing business for many years. He owned his own business for 10 years. He enjoyed woodworking as a hobby, but music was his true love of work.
Survivors include his wife, Terri, five children Renee Leisgang, Brenda (Merle) Erickson, Brenda (Wayne) Couillard, Ronald Joseph (Adle) Burrows, Jr., Brian (Abby) Burrows.
As well as his siblings, Sharon and Tom Goessl, Mary Amenson, Norb and Debra Leisgang, Diane and Jerry Gegare, all of Green Bay, Kathy and Paul Hansen, Shawano, Jerry and Candy Leisgang, Green Bay, Rick and Laura Leisgang, Wrightstown, Barb and Roger LaPlante, Green Bay, Nancy and John Ruden, Little Suamico, Ann and Scot Behnke, Judy and Scott Gellin, Theresa and Kevin Dugre, all of Green Bay, Sandy and Mike Lezotte, De Pere, Bob Leisgang, Cecil. Dave is further survived by his 12 grandchildren plus three kicks from Sophia, a great-granddaughter, 56 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald J. Leisgang, Sr., nephews, Joshua Behnke and Danny Hansen, a brother-in-law, Randy McGuire, grandparents Leonard and Petronella Landwehr and Theodore and Philomena Leisgang.
