David D. Renier, 83 of De Pere passed away peacefully surrounded by his children. David was born September 7, 1938 in Green Bay, the son of Edmund and Irene (Hanson) Renier. David was a proud Marine veteran. On May 30, 1959, he married Charlotte Destache. He and Charlotte owned and operated 'Renier's Bake Shoppe' in west De Pere for 17 years. He loved and excelled at providing for his family. David made working in the family bakery an amazing experience that cemented our family bonds. He loved his many dogs, especially Patsy. Later in retirement, he relished caring for the urban west De Pere population of wild critters including birds, squirrels, and a ground hog family. David is survived by his children: Chris (Julie) Renier, Cathy (Todd) Hendricks, Paul (Diane) Renier & Heather (Mark) Ellis. Grandchildren: David L. Renier, Logan (Kim) Hendricks, Lynn (Neal) Henrigillis, Natalie Renier, Brandon Mayville and Charlotte Mayville as well as his beloved great grandchild Olivia Hendricks. David is preceded in death by his wife Charlotte, mother & father Irene and Edmund Renier, mother-in-law &father -in -law Elvira and Austin Destache, brother & sister-in-law Richard and Mae Renier, sisterin-law Patty (John) Speaker, brother-in-law Lee (Theresa) Destache as well as many aunts & uncles. Per David's request there was no visitation and a private mass for immediate family. Memorials are encouraged to be sent to the Bay Area Humane Society, 1830 Radisson, Green Bay WI 542302 or to St. Willebrord Parish, 209 S. Adams, Green Bay, WI 54301.
