David Allen Vandehei, 63, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The son of William "Bill" and Alice (Aerts) Vandehei was born March 30, 1961.

Dave grew up in Oneida, attending St. Joseph and then West De Pere High School.

He loved family, old cars, fishing, camping and motorcycling. He was always helping others, but he marched to the beat of his own drum and everything was on Dave's time. "I'll be there in fifteen minutes" and "I'll call you right back" were two of his favorite sayings.

He is survived by his son, Nick; grandson, Nicholas; siblings, Jay Vandehei, Roxann (Steve) Ambrosius; and a large extended family.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Carol; his mother, Alice, who died when he was young; infant grandson, Hunter Vandehei; and other extended family.

Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, from 1:00 to 4:00 on Saturday, March 8, 2025. A sharing of stories will conclude the visitation at 4:00 p.m.
