David H. Weber, age 93, passed away on September 29th, 2021. He was born in Wausau, WI on April 7th, 1928, the son of Antone and Anna Weber. He moved to Shawano, WI as a child with his family. David graduated from Shawano High School and attended Lawrence College in Appleton, WI after serving in the Army. He later transferred to U.S.C. in Los Angeles, CA, and graduated college. David married Mary Frances Johnsen on August 27th, 1949, and settled in Shawano, WI. He worked in the family business, Weber Veneer and Plywood Co. for many years before entering the teaching field. He taught physics and math at the high school until his retirement. He spent many summers in Door County enjoying beaches and sunsets. David enjoyed skiing at Brule Mt. in Iron River, MI. He also enjoyed tennis, pickleball, and golf with his family and friends. He spent many years as a snowbird in Destin, FL. David is survived by his one son, Gary Weber of Green Bay; two daughters, Cindy (John) Manders of De Pere, and Barb (Mitch) Eastman of Green Bay; six grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Manders of Green Bay, Matt Manders of De Pere, Chad Eastman of Estero, FL, Cory (Amanda) Eastman of De Pere, Chris (Patience) Eastman of Green Bay, and Maiya Weber of Madison; and four great-grandchildren, Jameson, Annabelle, Kennedy, and Sloane. David was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen of Grand Junction, CO, and his wife, Mary Frances. A memorial visitation will be held at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere on Monday, October 4th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in his name.
