Debbie Lee Mecikalski, 68, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at a local hospital. She was born on October 30, 1957, in Green Bay to the late James “Bud” and Joyce Rasmussen.

Debbie married Jerry Mecikalski on October 17, 1995.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, her children Derrick (Anika) Capelle and Delana “Dee Dee” Capelle, and her grandchildren Anna (Ryan Cattan) Capelle, Jaide (Aaron) Keehan, and Sid Prue. Debbie is further survived by her brother Terry (Gloria Firgens) Rasmussen, sister-in-law Debbie Rasmussen, mother-in-law Ann Eiler, brother-in-law Mike (Michelle) Mecikalski, niece Katie (Ryan Donovan) Mecikalski, nephew Brett (Lana Paholke) Mecikalski, and her grand-nephew Jayden.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers Jim and Mike Rasmussen, father-in-law Edward “Running Bear” Mecikalski, brother-in-law Tim Mecikalski, and her precious dogs Buster, Jebb, and Brick.

Private services for Debbie have taken place. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Princess, I was truly blessed to have found you, from all the times we spent together on our trips to Florida, all the concerts we went to, camping, and our time out sitting by the fire at home. I couldn’t have found a more incredible, beautiful woman to share my life with. Love you! – Jerry
