Debra "Debby" Lee Porter, 70, of De Pere, passed away at home surrounded by family on April 29, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1955, in Green Bay to Leonard and Audrey (Barrette) Klarkowski. Debby graduated from Preble High School.

On January 16, 1976, Debby married Terry Porter at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Green Bay. Together, they traveled to many places, including a memorable last vacation to Hawaii with her entire family. She also loved visiting New York City to see Broadway shows, explore Times Square, and enjoy various other attractions and dining experiences. Many summers were spent at a cabin on Hagerman Lake in Iron River, Michigan.

Debby cherished spending time with her grandchildren and cheering them on in their sporting events; often attending baseball and hockey tournaments across the US and watching cheer competitions. Known for her excellent cooking and baking, especially during Christmas, her home was filled with dozens of different cookies and candies for all to enjoy. Debby had a passion for games and spent hours playing cards with family and friends, including a monthly card club with high school friends. She was also an avid scrapbooker, creating cherished scrapbooks for each grandchild. Debby was a considerate and attentive individual who consistently remembered to send cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays to all family and friends. Debby spent her career as a bookkeeper and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Terry; her children Krista (Patrick) Alvin and Andrea Porter; and her grandchildren Zachary, Nicholas, and Charlotte. She is further survived by her siblings Randall (Julie) Klarkowski, Karen Klarkowski, and Leonard (Debby) Klarkowski, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Debby was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends may visit Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025. A short Memorial Service will follow at noon. Inurnment will occur at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
