Debra Cornell. 57, of De Pere, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016 surrounded by her loved ones and in the comfort of her home, following a courageous five year battle with cancer. The daughter of Gordon and Geraldine Wishart was born May 27, 1958. She was a graduate of West De Pere, Class of 1977. On May 26, 1984, she married John Cornell at St. John Lutheran Church in De Pere. Survivors include her husband, John, one son, Troy Cornell, one daughter, Stacey Cornell and her fianc, Craig Bringe, her mother, Geraldine, siblings, Wayne (Audrey) Wishart, Gary (Debbie) Wishart, Dale (Lori) Wishart, Karen (Dan) Lessmiller, Julie (Ray) Van Den Heuvel, and Glen Wishart. She is further survived by John's parents, Jim (Ruth) Cornell, John's family, Mike (Jane) Cornell, Greg (Jane) Cornell, Joel (Kathy) Cornell, Pattie Nelson (Bruce), as well as a brother-in-law, John Hendricks. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon, a sister-in-law, Gayle Hendricks, and her grandparents, Betty and Harvey Wishart. Family and friends may call at First United Presbyterian Church, 605 North Webster Street, De Pere from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday April 2, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the church with Pastor Luke Farwell, officiating. Inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
