Debra Jo Diederich (George), of De Pere, passed away on October 14, 2016 due to complications from cancer. She was born on March 15, 1954 to Gordon and Joyce George. She married Raymond Diederich on June 21, 1975. During her life she was a registered nurse at St. Vincent's hospital and worked hard to promote farming through tours of the family farm. She was the leader of the OLOL Boy Scout Troop 1030, most proud of the eagle scouts, and was active with her parish and its confirmation and RCIA programs. She was an active knitter, quilter and enjoyed her bunco and homemakers groups. She most loved spending time surrounded by friends and family. Her humor, intelligence, cooking and support will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband; sons Matthew (Jera), Gabriel (Susan), and Daniel (Sarah); daughter Patricia (Jeremy) Booth; grandchildren Alexa, James, Keith, Anthony, Andrea, Reilly, Levi, Henry, Gordon and Clara; great-grandchildren Journey and Kymani; father-in-law Anthony Diederich, sister-in-law Nancy George, sister Carolyn (Lawrence) Lasee, brother John (Sue) George, brother Pat (Donna) George; as well as an extensive list of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Michael and mother-in-law Margaret. Family and friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in De Pere, 1307 Lourdes Ave, on Monday, October 17 from 9:00 - 10:30 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O'Praem, officiating.
