Debra Ruth Summers, 67, Oneida, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly due to heart complications on Monday morning, February 8, 2021. The daughter of Edward and Virginia "Arlene" (Skenandore) Summers was born on January 16, 1954. Debra spent her career in accounting at the Oneida Casino. She loved to travel, and went all over the United States with her family. She had a contagious laugh and was happiest laughing and sharing food with family. She is survived by her mother, Arlene; children, Jennifer and Jeff; grandchildren, Durant, Jennecia and Otavio. She is further survived by her siblings, Blair, Patricia (Mike) Melchert, Susan (Keith) Beechtree and Sandra; as well as nieces, nephews and other family. Debra was preceded in death by her father, Edward; aunts, uncles and other extended family members. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, 2021. A prayer service will conclude visitation at 6:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent hospital for their care over the last week, and also Evelyn and John "Boom" for their love.
