Delmar E. Radant, 84, of De Pere, joined his wife in the loving arms of the Lord on Saturday May 21, 2016. The son of the late Hubert and Clara (Zunker) was born June 27, 1931 in Wausau. Delmar served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Lorna Zastrow on June 14, 1952. She preceded him in death in 2011.
Delmar was a steamfitter and cad operator during his entire career. He was a very religious man and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Allouez. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. Del and Lorna doted on their small and intimate family and gladly followed Russ's employment ventures to Colorado Springs, Phoenix, and Burlington, CO., returning back to Wisconsin in 1999.
Survivors include his son, Russell "Tex" (DeEtte) Radant, grandsons, Clayton and Tyler, his siblings, Elgart (Cora), Donald, Edward (Bonnie) and Eldora Marquardt, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Willard.
Family and friends may call at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, from 9:30 to 11:00 am Thursday, May 26, 2016. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the Mausoleum Chapel with Rev.
