Delores (DeeDee) Holtermann, 91, passed away at Grandcare Nursing Home in Green Bay, WI on June 7th, 2024. She was born in Green Bay, WI on October 14th, 1932, to the late Robert and Magdalene (Vannieuwenhoven) Brott.
She was united in marriage May 30, 1950, at St. Joseph church to Cletus who preceded her in death on February 2, 2005. After retirement, DeeDee and Cletus spent most of their spare times as volunteers driving for the Red Cross and Brown County Human Resources Center. She was most happy when she had anyone or all her grandchildren and great grandchildren around her. DeeDee loved spending time at the cottage playing cards, relaxing and enjoying nature.
DeeDee is survived by six children and their partners; Joseph Holtermann, San Antonio, TX; John (Vicki) Holtermann, Pie Town, NM; Joanne (Nate) Carlton, Silver Cliff, WI; Jerry (Laurie) Holtermann, Green Bay, WI; Roland (Brenda) Little Suamico; And Larry (Gwen) Green Bay, WI. 16 grandchildren; Beckie, Robert, Jeff, Amy, Brooke, Chessa, Jason, Danny, Josh, Ryan, Chad, Shawn, Logan, Loren, and Joshua. 18 great grandchildren; Tyler, Schuyler, Isiah, Riley, Axton, Rylan, Onni, Justice, Chad, Radley, Odessa, Viola, Jason Jr, Hudson, Evelynn, Paisely, Joshua Jr. and Aubrielle. Three brothers; Roland (Sharon), Edward, Connie and sister-in-law; Mary Jane.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Darrold; three brothers in law; Arthur, Ralph, and Winford, and four sisters in law; Odila, Arleen, Judy and Marion.
The family would like to express a special thank you to staff at Grandcare Nursing Home for the care given to DeeDee during her time living there as a neighbor.
Family and friends may call to Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St. De Pere, WI 54115, on June 29, 2024, for visitation starting at 4:00pm until time of service at 6:00pm.
