Obituary

Delores J. VanDenHeuvel, 81, Oneida, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at a local hospital. Delores was born June 1, 1927 in Green Bay, a daughter of the late Jerry and Marie (Vanden Broeck) Lancelle. Delores married Wilfred "Bill" VanDenHeuvel on May 13, 1948 at St. Joseph's Church in Oneida. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2001. Delores was a devote member of St. Joseph's Church, Oneida. She loved her family, making crafts and gifts for everyone, playing card games, and most recently playing dominos with her siblings. Delores is survived by her six children: Gary (friend Gail Gerondale) VanDenHeuvel, Pulaski, Larry (friend Gail Sadler) VanDenHeuvel, Polar, Lee (Mary) VanDenHeuvel, Greenleaf, Mark (Cindy) VanDenHeuvel, Manawa, Scott (Kristina) VanDenHeuvel, Pulaski, and Toby (Marlene) VanDenHeuvel, Oconto Falls; 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings William "Bill" (Toots) Lancelle, Janice Holtz, Audrey Bain, and Pauline Lancelle; and former son-in-law Stewart Fraser, Ripon. Delores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wilfred "Bill", daughter Kathy Fraser, sister Isabelle, and brother Gerald. Visitation for Delores will be Friday, January 16, 2009 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St, De Pere from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with Wake Service 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at St Joseph's Church in Oneida from 11:30 AM until time of Mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 AM with Fr.
