Dena L. Crawford-Peters, 59, Milwaukee passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 8, 2020. She was born on March 6, 1960 and raised in Oneida WI. The daughter of the late Phillip Sr. and Rosemary (King) Peters. Dena received her G.E.D. at Indian Man Power. She attended MATC. Dena married Gary Crawford Sr. in 1976. She was a member of W.O.L.F at Gerald Ignace Health Center, Health and Wellness Garden; and the Food Pantry Siggenauk Center. Dena enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, and most importantly to her was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by, husband, Gary Sr; daughter, Melinda (Mario) Salinas; son, Gary Jr. (Becky) Crawford; grandchildren, Netawn, Emiliano, Raymon, DeLynna, Wes, Deija, Cito, MeLuisa, Paisley, Violet, Micheal, Nathan, Eustacia, great-granddaughter, Decelia "Cely", KK, and Baby Macho; brothers, Phillip "Butch", Richard "Magoo", and Harold "CooCoo; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dena was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert "Bobby" King and Anthony "Tony" Peters; her grandparents, Melinda Peters, and Antone (Rose) King. Friends may call after 11:00AM Wednesday January 15, 2020 at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere until time of service at 2:00PM. Oneida Hymn Singers will begin at 1:30pm.
