Our family lost Dennis Wayne Doxtater Jr. unexpectedly March 11, 2023. He was born January 21, 1976, the son of Dennis Doxtater Sr. and a brother to so many of his cousins and friends who lovingly knew him as "Bear ".

There were many facets to Bear's life. He found fulfillment volunteering at an animal shelter caring for the cats. He enjoyed sharing stories and memories of his youth. He inspired so many with his knowledge of music plus he was also a very talented writer and artist. He had a love and admiration for nature and animals, especially cats (& Brittany Spears).

Memories extend from him being that chubby little boy in the picture with Jaws underneath, him hanging out with Dale, Nona, and Sonny when they were all young, to him enjoying going on adventures through state parks and woods. Mostly, he appreciated and loved his family, so many cousins, Aunties and Uncles.

He is survived by his father Dennis Doxtater Sr. (Kim Paluch) and his younger brother Garrett, his Godson Daryl Cornelius Jr. and Daryl's mother Odessa Doxtater, his sister Sasha Cloud (Dan Kain) and his brother James Doxtater, Aunts, Uncles, and so many cousins that looked to him as their brother.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Agatha Doxtater nee Hall and his stepmother Helen Doxtater nee Peters, his grandfather Cleveland Doxtater Sr., his cousins Millie and Eddie, his Aunt Shirley and his Uncle C.J.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth St. De Pere, WI 54115, at 10:00am until 12:00 noon followed by services and a meal, with burial at 2p.m. at the Oneida Sacred Burial Grounds.
