IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dennis
Freiberg
November 30, 1950 – September 12, 2025
Dennis Freiberg,74, passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 12, 2025, at home from cardiac arrest. Dennis is the son of the late Cliff Freiberg Sr and Selma Freiberg, born on November 30, 1950. He was baptized into the Christian faith at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac, Wi. He later reaffirmed his faith at Church of Peace and again at St Mark Lutheran Church in Green Bay, Wi.
Dennis graduated from Horace Mann High School in 1969, where he lettered in baseball as a pitcher. Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force as a security guard to nuclear loaded bombers in the states and fighter jets in South Korea. He earned a diploma from Moraine Park Technical School as a machine tool operator. He worked for several machine shops in New Holstein, Appleton and Green Bay: retiring from Paper Converting.
Dennis married Annette Hoh on April 22, 1995, at St Mark Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Dennis drove many adventurous miles with Annette as navigator through the western states, Calgary Stampede and Key West, FL. He loved mountain driving through high summits. Together Dennis and Annette maintained and beautified their yard and grounds of St Mark Church in DePere, Wi. Dennis was very conscientious and meticulous with his machine shop work, his many volunteer hours doing grounds maintenance at St. Mark in Green Bay and De Pere, and his own yard.
Dennis is survived by his wife Annette, sister Sandy (Mel) Ver Haagh and brother Cliff Freiberg Jr. He is further survived by sister-in-law Esther Murphy, brothers-in-law John Hoh and Rueben (Judy) Hoh, nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers Richard Freiberg, Daniel Freiberg, sister-in-law Caroline Hoh, and nephew Keith Freiberg and in-laws Wilbert and Viola Hoh.
Thank you DePere paramedics, police and fire departments for your professional help and compassion. You did all you could.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran School or a non-profit of your choice.
