Florence "Dolly" (Kocha) Jansen, 89, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 10, 2017. The daughter of Peter and Rose (Hazaert) Kocha was born on August 27, 1928.
On July 19, 1947, Dolly married Wilbert "Bud" Jansen at St. Joseph Catholic Church in De Pere. They raised four sons together, and loved playing cribbage, golfing and camping. Bud preceded her in death in 2004.
She was a dedicated caregiver for Bud for three decades. Even with his limited mobility, they still traveled the country with friends.
Dolly worked for many years for the Ashwaubenon School District and St. Norbert College. She loved quilting, and won many blue ribbons at the Brown County Fair.
Dolly is survived by her four sons, Mike, De Pere, David (Mary), Lakewood, Dan (Marianne), De Pere and Richard "Dick" (Virginia), Spokane, WA.
She is further survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings and in-laws, Ray Kocha, Bea (James) DeBauche, Mae Kocha, Dolores Cottrell and Carol Winkler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, parents, Peter and Rose, siblings and in-laws Wilbert (Ester), Clifford (Lorraine), Raymond (Bev), Clarence (Mary), her twin brother Lawrence, and Peter.
