Obituary

Donald Kenneth Lardinois, 79 of Allouez passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 31, 2012. He was born March 15, 1933 in Walhain, WI. to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Etienne) Lardinois Jr. On October 16, 1954 he married Odile Gilson at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dykesville. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 to 1962. He was employed at Plymouth Cheese from 1956 to 1966, and then he took a position at Proctor & Gamble in 1966, retiring in 1995. Don also had part time jobs at one time or another at McFadzen Restaurant, Hillcrest Lumber, Ron's Super Valu, and Shakey's Pizza. Since 1967 he has been a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Allouez. Don was a very religious man, whom was a devout Roman Catholic. He also enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, John Deere Tractors, his family and grandchildren. Don is survived by his wife Odile, his children and grandchildren; Kenneth (Kim) Lardinois, and their son Tyler, Karen (Brian) Mathews, and their sons, Ryan (Alicia), Casey, and Mitchell, Dean Lardinois (Fianc Angie Melotte and her children Tera, Breanna, & Nolan), Susan (Michael) Schaffer, and their sons, Jacob, Ethan, and Samuel. Don's sister further survives JoAnn (Gary) Derricks, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Judy Lardinois, Beatrice (Edward) Gilson, Ervin (Eloise) Gilson, Leonard (Judy) Gilson, Stanley (Pam) Gilson, and Gerald Nelis. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and seven months ago, his brother Darrell Lardinois, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harold (Audrey) Gilson, and Angela Gilson Nelis. Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 4 8pm Thursday (TODAY) with a parish prayer service at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue after 9:30am Friday at St. Matthew Catholic Church 130 St. Matthews Street Green Bay, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am with Fr.
