Donna Maria Murrell resident of Green Bay, WI passed away on June 28, 2020. She was born on March 9, 1932 to Evelyn D. Wilson and William H. Murrell. She attended Springfield High School, Springfield, IL. She married Luther Banks on April 17, 1948 in Springfield, IL.
She was a bookkeeper for 50 years. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts. For the past 30 years, she enjoyed making jewelry and often sold her products at craft shows.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Banks-Wilkins and Sheila (Curtis) Carter; grandchildren, Dawn (Eddie) Gavin, Amber Wilkins, Jamal (Becky) Carter; great-grandchildren, Whitney Wells, Michael (Shunera) Wells, Brittany Wilkins, Kintressa Gosz, Alyvia Pontow, Anthony Carter, Brylynn Wilkins; and great-great-grandchildren, Aniya, Lakya, Ayden and Austin.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Don L. Barbee II; her father, William H. Murrell, and her mother Evelyn D. Scott.
Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory. The service begins at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Chad Hurtler presiding. She is being laid to rest at Oak Ridge Mausoleum in Springfield, IL.
