Doreen Roberto, 55, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday July 26, 2013 at home, surrounded by her family. The daughter of Franklin and Margaret Doxtater was born on July 7, 1958 in Green Bay. Doreen was a graduate of West De Pere High School. She married David Roberto in Las Vegas in December of 2009.
Doreen was employed at Oneida Bingo and Casino for many years, where she was greatly respected and liked by her co-workers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Doreen enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to many casinos with her husband, Dave.
Survivors include her husband, David, her children, Darrell Doxtater, Deanne Davis, grandchildren, Mariah and Darian, nine siblings, Robin (Sheila) Doxtater, Mary Doxtater, Diane (Pete) Dittel, Terry (Theresa) Doxtater, John (Jodi) Doxtater, Tony Doxtater, Sally (Doug) Murphy, Karen (Adam) Melchert, and Pete (Melanie) Doxtater, many nieces and nephews ; in addition, she will be missed by her dog, "Tasha". She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew.
Family and friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 305 North Tenth Street, De Pere from 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 30, 2013. Oneida Hymn Singing will begin at 6:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Father Rob Clarke, officiating.
