Doris M. Barron, 89, passed away on Saturday morning, February 3, 2024.
She was born February 8, 1934, in Little Chute to the late Henry and Agnes (Janssen) DeGroot.
On July 4, 1956, she was united in marriage to Robert Barron at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute.
Doris enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses. It was being mom to her five children and grandma to her twelve precious grandchildren and two great grand children that brought her the most joy. She loved her trip to the Netherlands with her siblings to research windmills, which at the time was being looked at to have one recreated in Little Chute.
Doris is survived by her children; Mark (Hope) Barron, Michael (Stephanie Eaton) G. Barron, Bobbie Trucco, Jennifer (Scott Peterson) Barron, Ann (Tony) Crone, as well as her precious grandchildren. Her siblings, Roger (Mary) DeGroot, Deacon Vincent DeGroot, Donald (Laurie) DeGroot, Gerald (Pauline) DeGroot, Timothy (Cherrie) DeGroot, and sister-in-law Rosemary Mianecki.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert in 2015, her siblings Margaret (James) Rossmeisal, Joseph DeGroot, Florian (Pearl) DeGroot, Bernice DeGroot, and brother-in-law Butch Mianecki.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Saturday March 23, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 411 Vandenbroek St., Little Chute.
Ryan Funeral Home, De Pere is assisting the family.
The family requests in lieu of flowers or plants, memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Doris' name.
