Dorothy B. Lemmen, 85 of the Town of Lawrence, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Monday September 2, 2013. She was born March 7, 1928 to the late Isaac and Clara Goffard. On May 1, 1928 she married Robert "Bob" Lemmen at St. Joseph Catholic Church in De Pere. Dorothy was a loving and kind wife and mother. She really liked to garden, especially her Strawberries were a favorite. Traveling with Bob, especially winters in the south was something she really enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband Bob, her children; Bonnie (Al) Mullen, Debbie (John) Roemaat, Rick (Nancy) Lemmen, Larry (Wendi) Lemmen, and Shelly (Rick) Ambrosius. Dorothy is further survived by her grandchildren; Janelle (Joe), Tammy (Chad), Jason, Scott, and Laura. Step grandchildren; Matt (Special friend Kristy), Steve (Jenny), Sherry, Sara (Brandon), Brittany, and Dylan. Her Great Grandchildren; Austin, Alec, Trennedy, and Tylee, and Dorothy's seven step great grandchildren, Johnathan, Katelyn, Luke, Troy, Brooke, Bridget, and Sierra. Dorothy's family also survives; Don Fischer, and Dort Goffard, as well as members of Bob's family, Wilbert Lemmen, Henrietta Schaetz, Bernice Hermsen, Richard (Mary) Lemmen, Sis (Gene) Egnarski, and Bud (Jean) Lemmen. Dorothy was preceded in death by two children, Ronald and Michael, 1 granddaughter Christy, as well as members of her family; Wilbert (Laurette) Goffard, Bernice (Norbert) Rentmeester, Alvin (Eleanor) Goffard, Alvina (Ray) VanLanen, Robert (Patricia) Goffard, Mildred Fischer, and Ervin Goffard. Members of Bob's family also preceded her, Matthew (Caroline) Lemmen, Norma Lemmen, Catherine (Vernon) Lemerond, John Lemmen, Norbert (Florence) Lemmen, Don Schaetz, and Gene Hermsen.
Friends may call at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere from 4 8pm Thursday September 5, 2013.
