Dorothy M. Roffers, age 91 of Ashwaubenon passed away on Saturday March 2, 2013. She was born April 15, 1921 in Bellevue daughter of the late William and Grace Baumgart. On September 14, 1940 she married Irvin Roffers at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in De Pere. Dorothy enjoyed her garden and flowers as well as baking for her family. For many years she bowled in league bowling. She and Irvin loved to dance to local Polka bands. Dorothy was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes in De Pere. For the last years Dorothy lived at Birch Creek Assisted Living where the staff and residents became her second family. She is survived by her children; Roger Roffers and his special friend Ann Stueber, Daniel (Karen) Roffers, Nancy (Ralph) Gossen, Eugene (Cathy) Roffers, Wayne (Debbie) Roffers, and Mark (Sherry) Roffers. Dorothy is further survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandson. Jenny Roffers her sister in law also survives. Preceding her in death were her husband, Irvin, her parents, as well as her siblings and Irvin siblings.
Friends may call at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Ave. and Suburban Drive in De Pere after 9am on Friday March 8, 2013. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11am with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating. Entombment will take place in the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
