Doug Brenwall, 42 of De Pere died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning January 9, 2013. He was born April 1, 1970 in Milwaukee to Larry and Sandy(Firgens) Brenwall. Doug was a 1988 graduate of West De Pere High School and a 1992 graduate of St. Norbert College. On November 1, 1997 he was united in marriage to Shelia Cody. Doug had worked at Bay Valley Foods as a Cost Accountant for a number of years. For the last two years Doug has been pursuing his dream of running his own business, Firehouse Subs. He was an avid sportsman.
Doug was named All Conference and All Metro for West De Pere Football and starred in baseball. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and at the cabin up north. Doug loved spending time with his family, especially Shelia, and Payton, and hunting with the boys.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Shelia, daughter, Payton, stepsons; Zach Sheikh, Seth (Krissi) Sheikh, and his grandsons; Carter and Cael. Doug is further survived by his parents, Larry and Sandy, brothers; Mike (Sue) Brenwall, and Dale (Patricia) Brenwall. His mother in law, Jean (Bruce) Burmeister, father in law, Mike (Beth) Cody, Sister in law, Julie (Scott) Jossart, brother in law, Ron (Cheryl) Cody. Doug is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Danielle, Jerrod, Brook, Jake, Kendall, Derek, and Brett, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may call after 1pm Sunday January 13, 2013 at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME 305 N. Tenth Street in De Pere, until time of service at 6pm with Fr. Tim Shillcox O.Praem officiating.
