Obituary

Douglas Joseph Hubbard, Green Bay, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. He was born July 10, 1945, in Milwaukee to the late Harold and Bertha (Dumke) Hubbard. Doug graduated from West Division High School, Milwaukee. He served his country from 1965 - 1967 in the U.S. Army, as a medic. On November 24, 1967, he married Norma Arledge in Landrum, SC. Doug worked at Nicolet Paper Mill for 18 years, Interlake Papers for 13 years, and then retired from the Oneida Nation after 11 years. Doug enjoyed playing cards, fishing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by Norma Hubbard, their children; Jeff (Lisa) Hubbard, Lisa (s/o Bobby), Danielle (s/o Bryan), and Anthony (Kayla) Hubbard. 20 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Don (Claire), Gloria, Bob, Gerry (Cathy), Debbie (Ken), as well as many nieces and nephews. Doug was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in law, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 5 brothers-in-law, 1 sister-in-law, 3 nephews and 3 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere after 11:00AM on Saturday March 5th, until military honors at 1:00PM.
