Obituary

Doug L. Mayotte, 77, De Pere, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning November 12, 2017. He was born January 24, 1940 to the late Raymond and Bessie Mayotte. Doug was the Valedictorian of his graduating high School Class, he then went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force from 1958 – 1962. In 1961 he married Sharon Scott. He retired from the Federal Aviation Administration working as a Radar Technician, a job he truly enjoyed. Doug was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, De Pere, past member of the Elks, loved a good game of Dartball, and enjoyed his hobbies of woodworking and painting. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by his wife Sharon, daughter Julie (Randy) Hockers, granddaughter Nicole (Devon) Dionne, and great granddaughter Alyssa. Doug is further survived by his siblings; Edward (Deanna) Mayotte, Patrick Mayotte, Michael (Mary Ann) Mayotte, Linda Mayotte, as well as members of Sharon's family and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Doug was preceded in death by his siblings; Raymond Mayotte, Warren Mayotte, Norma Connors, and Lois Deragon. Friends may call at Hope Lutheran Church, 700 S. Superior Street, De Pere after 9:00AM Thursday November 16, 2017. A funeral service for Doug will take place at 11:30AM with Pastor Matt Baye officiating. Burial will take place in Mt.
