Edward H. "Eddie" Thomas, 42, passed away of natural causes on November 12, 2019. The son of Edward Thomas and Mary Nell Hill was born on February 4, 1977 in Chicago. On February 9, 2008, he married Rosalba Mendez-Sotelo. Eddie had a big heart and was always willing to help others, especially the ones he loved. He loved camping, cooking, watching movies and being surrounded by friends and family. He was constantly joking around and always put a smile on people's faces. He is survived by his wife, Rosalba Mendez-Sotelo; mother, Mary Kopka; siblings, Corey, Paul and Laura Kopka; Dorothy Ramirez; Godparents, Salvador and Martha Esparza; as well as other extended family members. Eddie was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Kopka; grandparents Corneil Hill and Miram Doxtator; Cheryl Cloud; and other members of the extended family. Family and friends may visit at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere beginning at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2019. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place Monday, November 18, 2019 at Holy Apostles Cemetery in Oneida.
